Born into a Lithuanian family best known for their yam festivals, Stephanie struggled to live happily. This was in part due to their heavy handed use of pepper spray for discipline, but primarily due to her severe allergies to anything not covered in sugar. It was therefore at a young age that she realised her future was not in the vegetable industry. Moving away from Lithuania at the age of 13 she came to live with the Coombes family
There were certainly some hilarious clashes with her new family as her old-fashion yam-farm values clashed with the Coombes’ ‘no pants Sundays’. Hijinks ensued, which were famed in the hit sitcom "I Yam What I Yam". It lasted three seasons until it was replaced with "Peas and Quiet".
Stephanie now lives in relative comfort in her Sydney home, lately the Coombes family have even allowed her sleep inside on rainy nights.
